Crock Pot Cube Steak instructions
- Mix Cream of Mushroom, water, and seasonings in a bowl with a fork or whisk, getting out as many lumps as possible.
- Peel and quarter potatoes.
- Peel and slice onion (you can also chop the onion, I just prefer slices).
- Halve the steaks so they fit better into the crock pot and season to taste if desired.
- Spread a thin layer of cream of mushroom on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add potatoes in single layer.
- Add half the onion on top of the potatoes and 1/3 to 1/2 of the cream of mushroom mixture.
- Lay in steaks over the potatoes and avoid as much overlapping as possible.
- Add the other half of the onions over steaks.
- Pour the rest of the cream of mushroom mixture over the steaks and onions, covering as much of the meat as possible ( I spooned it in to make sure it was all covered).
