Ingredients of Minced Goat Meat Sauce
- You need 1/2 kg of Goat meat chopped finely or you can use the food processo.
- You need 3 of cob of fresh sweet corn, removed.
- Prepare 4 of carrots.
- It's of Spring onions.
- You need 1 of Green pepper.
- You need of Red chilli pepper.
- It's of Onions chopped.
- You need of Garlic 1 tsp chopped.
- It's of Fresh Ginger grated (1tablespoon).
- You need 1/2 teaspoons of black pepper.
- Prepare of Fresh thyme.
- You need of Fresh curry leave.
- It's 1 spoon of or less of corn flour/ starch.
- You need of Stock cubes 1.
- You need of Salt.
If it's just a little, then leave for flavor. Add tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms, and seasoning. This is an ongoing supply, my folks keep meat goats so goat is cheap and plentiful. The meat isn't particularly gamy, but it does have a bit of a gamy flavor.
Minced Goat Meat Sauce instructions
- Miced up the Goat meat. Season up with garlic, ginger, onions, chilli pepper, salt, fresh thyme, and some curry leaves. Allow it to rest for 20mins on before boiling till meat is tender..
- Cut up all the veggie into desired sizes....
- In a stock pan, a little oil, add onions, garlic, ginger and stir..
- Add the sweet corn, (mind you the corn was very soft, the was no need to parboil), pour in the meat, allow to simmer..
- Add the green pepper, chilli pepper, spring oinions, fresh thyme, salt and last of the grated fresh ginger... The aroma at this point is wow...😉.
- Taste, add the carrot, curry leaves and a little bit of water if necessary,. Black pepper, and(may I add that the black pepper, fresh chopped red chilli peppers, and green pepper all work together to give this Sauce a very unique taste) corn flour to thicken the sauce....
- Allow to simmer for a min and your Miced Goat meats Sauce is ready..
- You can eat with Rice, boiled potatoes or Plantain. From the picture above, I had mine with Rice and Dodo and it was just delish..
Right now I want to take some goat meat and make a cottage pie (potatoes over meat over. Add two tablespoons of tomato puree and a big glug of Worcester sauce.
