- Prepare 1 cup of broken wheat/dalia.
- It's 1 cup of sugar.
- Prepare 1 tsp of elaichi/cardamom powder.
- Prepare 1/2 cup of mixed chopped nuts.
- Prepare 1/4 cup of ghee.
- It's 21/2 cups of hot water.

Fada/Dalia ni Lapsi step by step
- Heat the ghee in a non stick kadhai and add dalia sauté on a slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes..
- Or till it turns golden brown colour, while stirring continuously..
- Add hot water and mix well and cook on a high flame till the water starts boiling..
- Partly cover and cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes or till the broken wheat is almost done..
- When all most of the water has evaporated add the sugar and cardamom powder and mix well..
- Cook on a slow flame for 5 to 7 minutes or till the ghee separates while stirrings continuously..
- Add nuts (almonds, cashwnut, pistachio, kishmish) and mix well..
- Switch off the flame. Now lapsi is ready to serve..
