- It's 1½cups of dalia.
- It's 1 cup of chopped capsicum.
- It's 1/2 cup of chopped carrots.
- Prepare 1 of medium sized tomato chopped.

- It's 4 of green cardamom.
- You need 2 of cloves.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of ginger paste.

Dalia Pulao step by step
- Heat a wok and dry roast the Dalia for approx 2mins. Keep it aside..
- Heat some oil in the same wok and add the green cardamom and cloves and saute them till the aroma comes out of it..
- Add the capsicum and carrot and salt. The quantity of the salt should be as per the vegetables you added..
- Mix them very well in a medium flame and cover it with a lid..
- Uncover it after a while and saute it again. Repeat the process untill the veggies are fried well..
- Add the ginger paste and chopped tomatoes and saute it very well untill cooked well..
- Add the Dalia and mix them very well..
- Add the water. The quantity of the water should be double the quantity of the Dalia. Add the slitted green chillies, salt and sugar. Let it be a bit sweetish..
- Cover it with a lid for approx 8 to 10min in high flame..
- Check whether the dalia is cooked well. If yes, add the garam masala powder and ghee..
- Mix it well and serve hot..
